Bill Armstrong '68 was honored for his outstanding accomplishments as a football, basketball, baseball and track player at GA.

At Germantown Academy, Ryan Ayers '05 was named the 2005 Gatorade Pennsylvania State Player of the Year and was named All-Inter-Ac League three seasons in a row.

Ayers was an All-Inter-Ac League selection three times at GA before being a three time All-Patriot performer at Bucknell University.

Following a successful career at GA, Reds Bagnell '47 went on to shine at the University of Pennsylvania where he finished third in the Heisman Trophy Ballot.

While at GA, Bennett made her impact on GA's soccer and lacrosse programs.

Biddle's greatest contribution to GA athletics was the role she played in organizing and founding the Girls Inter-ac League in 1983.

As a Patriot, Aemisegger was a four-time Inter-Ac All-League selection and named the Team MVP all four years of her high school career.

A two-time captain and MVP, Bodle won a total of six Inter-Ac titles while attending GA.

A Geis Trophy winner in 1975, Brooks went on to start at Duke University. 

During his tenure at GA, Buckley had a positive impact on thousands of students as a faculty member and a coach.

Suzy Buckovich swam on Germantown Academy's 1986 and 1987 National Championship Girls’ Varsity swim teams and served as captain of the 1987 Championship Girls’ Varsity swim team.

A four-sport athlete here at GA, Buehler played a key role in the football team's undefeated campaigns in 1942 and 1943.

A two-sport athlete, Burke left GA as the sixth all-time leading scorer for boys basketball and holds the single season assist record in basketball.

Following a stellar career at GA, Caramanico went on to Penn where she was arguably the most dominant women's basketball player in Penn history.

As a three-sport lettterwinner, Chadwin helped GA win Inter-Ac League titles in soccer and basketball.

In 1988, Burwell was the Philadelphia Daily News Inter-Ac Player of the Year after he ran for 1,252, which set a new school record.

During his time at GA, Crawford was named the Inter-Ac League's Most Valuable Player for basketball in 1956.

An All-American, the late Fran Crippen '02 was devoted to his sport in high school, college, and as a professional athlete.

After earning High School All-American honors all of her four years on the swim team and being a six-time Eastern Swimming Champion, Crippen found success at Villanova University and on the national level.

Before swimming with the US National Team, Crippen set many pool and school records at GA.

Curtin was a standout for the GA boys soccer team before playing at Georgetown and in the MLS.

The late Bernie Dallas competed in three different sports for four years at a varsity level for GA. After graduating from UMass, he played professional football in the Continental Football League.

Daly started all four years for the GA girls basketball team and won the Inter-Ac each year. She also won Inter-Ac titles in field hockey and lacrosse before playing basketball at Boston College.

Devlin was a captain for the basketball and baseball teams and earned Inter-Ac Championships in three different sports. 

Before playing professionally, Donatelli was a major threat on the pitch for the Patriots, setting season and career scoring marks.

An all-around athlete at GA, Doty was a four-year letterwinner in soccer, basketball and track. She played basketball at UConn, winning three national titles.

A member of the All-Decade Philadelphia Team for 1976-1986, Duncan was the Inter-Ac basketball leading scorer and MVP twice. He then played at Rutgers for two and a half seasons.

In just three season, Ellis did enough on the basketball court to be ranked top five in career scoring, rebounding, steals and assists. He went on to play at Lafayette College where he was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1995.

A three time All-Inter-Ac selection as a soccer player, Feidler was awarded the Alford Otto Trophy for being the most valuable high school soccer player in the Philadelphia area before playing collegiately at Penn State.

Felter was a star on offense for the Patriots' field hockey and lacrosse teams, but also won Inter-Ac championships in volleyball.

Fenerty has registered over 600 wins and 17 league championships since he began coaching boys basketball at GA in 1989. 

At Germantown Academy, Ferguson played field hockey, basketball and lacrosse before attending Elizabethtown College and being inducted into their Hall of Fame.

Finelli was a three-sport athlete at GA -- playing lacrosse, basketball and cross country -- and won an Inter-Ac Championship in each. 

Before being on the 1964 All-Madden Team as a lineback/punter, Frazer made an impact on seven different teams at Germantown Academy.

Coach Frazier started the Germantown Academy girls soccer program and won the National Prep Tournament championships as the wrestling coach.

Gottshall started setting varsity cross country records as an eighth grader and finished her dual meet career winning first place 38 out of 40 times.

Before playing soccer professionally, Gray starred as a member of Germantown Academy's soccer team.

Grieve set marks while playing quarterback, but also excelled as a pitcher for the GA baseball team before being selected in the 2008 MLB Draft.

Haynie has the most points in GA boys lacrosse history and continued his success at Princeton where he was named All-Ivy League thrice. 

Haynie made his mark at Germantown Academy as a teacher and as the head coach for the boys lacrosse team.

Hebling made her mark on Germantown Academy as being the first female basketball player to score 1,000 points. 

Statistically the best wrestler in GA history, Henrich won Prep Nationals and holds the record for most career wins at GA and University of Virginia.

At GA, Henry was named All-Inter-Ac in soccer, but made his mark playing lacrosse where he was All-American, won the Inter-Ac and other individual awards before playing at Franklin & Marshall College.

In addition to winning the 2001 Prep Nationals, Hill's wrestling teams won the Inter-Ac League 14 times in his 15 years of coaching at GA.

A longtime coach at Germantown Academy, Hofmann has guided many players to All-American honors and teams into the Hall of Fame. Hofmann has also represented the Girls Inter-Ac.

Holcombe starred on the track and as a running back for the football team while at GA, earning multiple All-Inter-Ac League honors.

Holmes was an All-State selection, an All-American and team MVP in lacrosse while attending Germantown Academy. 

Holmes earned All-Inter-Ac, All-State and All-American honors while playing lacrosse for the Patriots.

Huntington blended academics, leadership and athletics while at Germantown Academy before setting records at Stanford University.

Before coaching soccer at GA and at the college level, Duncan was a three-sport athlete for the Patriots.

Hutter started on the basketball team for five years and earned All-Inter-Ac honors each year. He held GA's scoring record for 23 years and is third in Inter-Ac scoring.

Hyndman earned local and national honors while golfing at Germantown Academy and eventually served in the U.S. Army and the Army National Guard.

As a coach, Ioia holds the Philadelphia scholastic record for straight league wins and is credited with bringing popularity back to the ice hockey program.

A three-sport athlete at Germantown Academy, Kahoe was All-Inter-Ac in football, basketball and baseball before playing football at Delaware.

Kane captained the football and basketball teams at GA while earning Football Offensive Player of the Year, All-Philadelphia Second Team and All-Time Germantown Academy in the last 20 years for football.

Keblish played three sports while at Germantown Academy, but made his biggest impact as a member of the boys lacrosse team.

Kehan showed his skills in soccer, basketball and baseball, playing on six Inter-Ac championship teams.

A five-sport athlete at GA, Kelso helped build the field hockey program and established the Kelso Cup. 

A long-time coach, Krouse has won six state championships and 12 league championships since 1991.

Krug was always looking to get better at his craft, receiving the Most Improved Award in Basketball and Track. 

Kurz is the all-time leading scorer for basketball at GA and carried that success over to the collegiate level. 

At Germantown Academy, Labosky earned 11 All-American honors, had Olympic Trials Qualifiers in five events and went undefeated in the pool her senior year. She has also competed at the national level.

Langdon was an ironman on the football field, winning team MVP his junior year, but also starred in tennis, basketball and baseball. 

Lassen won many awards while playing football and baseball at Germantown Academy before attending the Philadelphia Athletics Tryout Camp in 1954.

Lassen was a three-sport athlete at GA and won numerous awards for football and baseball before playing for the U.S. Army in 1956. 

Lawson was on the Inter-Ac All Star Team for three different sports while attending Germantown Academy.

Leith played four sports at Germantown Academy, but stood out in football and basketball, where he won the Maxwell Club Award and the Markward Club Award.

At Germantown Academy, Leoni competed in football, track, wrestling and winter track and earned All-Inter-Ac honors in football and wrestling. Leoni is a member of the Inter-Ac Champsionship for the first time in modern times.

Lewis excelled as a baseball player for Germantown Academy before continuing his career at the University of South Carolina.

A four-time Inter-Ac League Champion for the basketball team, Lucas was GA's first McDonald's All-American and its second all-time leading scorer.

Marolla earned many awards at GA for football and lacrosse, including the Bernie Dallas and Geiss Award winner.

Magarity started all four years for three different teams at GA and won Inter-Ac League titles in each sport before winning three national titles in lacrosse at Northwestern. 

Magerman won multiple MVP awards while playing on the GA field hockey team before winning a National Title at UNC.

Martinez was a stellar defender, winning defensive MVP honors from field hockey and lacrosse five times.

Before playing baseball at Lehigh University, Matteo had a sub-one ERA at GA and received many First-Team awards.

Before becoming a collegiate field hockey coach, McCracken captained the field hockey and lacrosse teams at GA.  

McGovern-Olcese won varsity letters in lacrosse and basketball, but made her biggest mark on the field hockey team.

Bowen McKay earned 11 Varsity letters in field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse, and she captained all three teams as a senior. In addition to her achievements at GA, she competed in squash and golf, becoming the Huntingdon Valley Country Club Girls Champion in both sports in 1975, and received awards including the William David Lyons '46 Memorial Cup, the Blazer Pin Award, and the Osbourn Memorial Medal.

McKinney played soccer and lacrosse at GA before attending Notre Dame and setting records in lacrosse.

McMaster was the pole vault champion in the Inter-Ac in 1935, 1936 and 1937 and held the league pole vault record for 33 years.

McVeigh was a teacher, coach and mentor of students and teachers alike for 45 years at GA.

Melchionni was named All-League in soccer as a freshman and sophomore, but left his mark at GA by playing basketball. 

A four-year starter for the boys basketball team, Minkin later played professionally in Israel and won multiple league championships.

Before becoming President of the Philadelphia Phillies, Montgomery served as a coach at GA for eight years.

A three-year letterwinner in football, basketball and baseball, Morrison has an award named after him that is given out annually at the first Inter-Ac home game of the season.

Murray received numerous All-Inter-Ac honors while playing football, basketball, baseball and track at Germantown Academy.

Nori compiled 12 varsity letters for three different sports while attending Germantown Academy before starring at Boston College and claiming All-Big East honors.

Oelkers was an All-League performer in lacrosse and soccer before excelling as a coach in both sports. 

Wilson has coached multiple teams at Germantown Academy as well as keeping times and scores for athletic events.

Erin starred as a defensive player for the basketball and lacrosse teams at Germantown Academy.  

A captain of the girls soccer, lacrosse and basketball teams her senior year at GA, Osbourn has been a part of eight Inter-Ac League Championship teams, seven Inter-Ac League First Teams

Paone played two sports, but starred as a golfer at GA and set the single season scoring record in 1995. 

Piranian captained the boys soccer, lacrosse and wrestling teams while also being named MVP for each team. 

Platt captained three different teams and led them all to league championships while attending Germantown Academy. 

Prior was a four-time All-American, National Prep School Champion and competed in the 1984 and '85 Olympic trials while at GA.

The youngest member of the US National Team at the 1985 Pan-Pacific games, Radke led GA to two national titles and is one of the most distinguished swimmers in school history. 

Rankin led GA to league titles in cross-country before running for the University of Tennessee's National Championship Track Team.

Reilly won three straight National Prep School Championships, compiled a record of 110-3 and led GA to two Philadelphia Area Private School Invitational Wrestling Tournament championships.

The only Inter-Ac basketball coach with 18 league titles, Retif has compiled over 600 wins in her career. 

An All-American and member of the Inter-Ac's All-Star field hockey team, Reydel later went on to play at Duke University.

Rhoads was a pure scorer who helped the lead the basketball team and field hockey team to multiple Inter-Ac League Championships.

Before he captained the 1988 US Ice Hockey Team in the Olympics and won Stanley Cup MVP as a member of the New York Rangers, Richter was a scholar-athlete at GA.

Before playing in the NCAA tournament and Junior College World Series, Roberts was a three-sport athlete at Germantown Academy.

A consistent All-American and the fastest high school swimmer in the history of the sport, Schneider still holds records at Germantown Academy.

A highly decorated soccer player at GA, Shaner went on to be an All-Big East caliber defender at Notre Dame.  

A machine on offense for Germantown Academy, Shaner led the soccer team in scoring for three years and set records for goals in lacrosse. 

During this time he has coached eight Olympians and placed a swimmer on the U.S. National Swimming Team for 12 straight years.

Skuchas set records and won All-inter-Ac honors while playing for the GA basketball team.

Slattery made a name for himself at GA on the hardwood before playing at Delaware and professionally.

Before being selected for the US Olympic Soccer Team in 1972, Soley set scoring records at Germantown Academy and St. Joseph's University.

Steffens starred as a first baseman for Germantown Academy and eventually played in the Philadelphia Phillies organization.

A standout athlete on the gridiron and on the track, Stitzer still holds the record for the 880 yard run.

After never losing a match during her high school career, Stanislawski went on to play tennis at Penn, where she had an undefeated senior season.

Stampone was named to numerous All-League teams and claimed MVP awards for his performances as a member of the GA football, ice hockey and baseball teams.

Straub was a three-sport athlete at Germantown Academy before winning Ivy League titles and All-American honors at Penn.

A four time captain and four time All-League selection, Taylor went on to play softball at University of Virginia.

Theiss earned all-league honors and served as captain for the Germantown Academy football, swimming and track team. 

Temme captained the football and wrestling teams while earning All-League honors in both sports.

An outstanding tennis player, Tilden became the first American to win the men's singles at Wimbledon. 

An All-American in swimming and water polo, Tracey continued his success at Villanova where he holds six swimming records.

At Germantown Academy, Turner collected many varsity letters in different sports and was later named to All-Decade Teams in football for the Inter-Ac.

Turner played a major role in the development of the men's athletic program at GA and has won more games than any other football coach in school history.

Turner took home almost every possible award a scholar athlete could receive while playing football and baseball for Germantown Academy.

Twiford was a four-sport athlete at Germantown Academy and earned All-Inter-Ac status in three of them before playing at Bucknell. 

Wachter was a highly decorated wrestler at GA and broke the record for most wins in Pennsylvania history.

Vause-Earland captained the girls lacrosse and girls volleyball team as a senior and was named to the 1980 US National Lacrosse First Team. 

Walters was the floor general for one of Germantown Academy's best basketball teams of all time and scored over 1,000 points in his career.

Walsh won multiple MVP awards while playing basketball at GA and continued that success while playing collegiately at the University of Florida.

Named Outstanding Athlete in 1938, Warner played four sports in his time at Germantown Academy.

Welsh was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles while still in high school, but opted to play college ball at Villanova where he still ranks top-10 in five offensive categories.

One of the best swimmers in Germantown Academy history, Wharton holds four school records, two national prep school records and won a silver medal in the 1988 Olympics.

A standout on the basketball court, White currently ranks as the fifth highest scorer in Germantown Academy history. 

Being named to the All-Inter-Ac ice hockey team four times and the All-Inter-Ac soccer team three times are just the beginning of accomplishments for Whiteside.

Williams was named the "Finest Basketball Player in the illustrious history of GA" by the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News and is the school's all-time leading scorer.

While at GA, Williams averaged 18 points per game and was an Inter-Ac champion, a team MVP and a league MVP.

Williamson was a member of GA's swimming team for four years and won national and local honors for her performances. 

Winning was a member of the four-time Inter-Ac Champion basketball team and was an All-American lacrosse player at GA.

Winter-Zeitz was an MVP in three different sports and earned All-Inter-Ac in every sport and every year.

One of the only undefeated football teams in GA history, the 1952 group featured many players that went on to play college football. 

Guided by two All-Americans, numerous All-Inter-Ac players and tremendous goalkeeping, the 1967 team went 17-3-2 and won the league championship for the first time in 37 years.

The team only lost one of the 25 games it played in -- against University of Penn's freshman team -- and featured eight current members of the GA Sports Hall of Fame. 

Led by a potent offense and stellar pitching, the 1972 team went undefeated in Inter-Ac play and ranked No. 1 in Southern Pennsylvania by area newspapers.

The first undefeated football team at GA since 1952, this team steamrolled opponents with a solid defense and running game.

The 1978 team won the first GA track championship in 73 years and set school records in five different events.

The last team to hand Blair School a loss at the Lehigh National Prep Wrestling Championships featured seven wrestlers.

In 1979 the Patriots completed the season with an undefeated 10-0-3 record.

This team played in four straight Flyers Cup's -- including the first ever -- and won it twice.

With only one loss overall and no losses in the Inter-Ac, the 1983 team won the league.

In addition to going undefeated in the dual meet season, the 1985 team was named National Champion by Swimming World Magazine and featured athletes that swam at the national level.

Named National Champions by Swimming World, the 1986 girls swim team featured future Olympic athletes. 

The 1990 team won the Pennsylvania State Championship when private, Catholic and public schools played for the title. It was also GA's first lacrosse championship.

The 1992-93 team won the Inter-Ac League and ended their season ranked No. 2 in the state of Pennsylvania. 

Led by several future DI players, the 1996-97 group ranked as the best team in Southeastern Pennsylvania.

The 1997 team set the standard for GA girls cross country by winning the Pennsylvania State Independent School Championship, earning the first undefeated girls cross country season in school history and placing five girls on the first-ever Inter-Ac All-League team.

The combination of a high-powered offense and a staunch defense led the 1997 team to an undefeated record.
